Since the rounded tip does not pierce the fibers but pushes them aside, the embroidery needles without a tip are particularly suitable for embroidery work with coarser materials such as wool. The needles with symmetrically punched eyes are made of hardened steel and are completely burr-free. The eye of the embroidery needles is correspondingly large for threading coarser yarns or wool. The balanced ratio of length and thickness gives the needles their good elasticity in use.
