Or would you like to sew on appliqués and temporarily stabilize the fabric for this purpose? Then Vlieseline Solufix is the right choice for you! It is glued to the fabric and can be easily washed out after embroidering or appliquéing – cold water is sufficient! Here's how it's done: Draw the desired motif on the rough side and peel off the foil. Place Solufix on the right side of the textile work and press down. For thin fabrics, you may also need to stick Solufix onto the left side and embroider the motif as desired or sew it on with a tight zigzag stitch. Then wash out Solufix. For collages and pizza technique, place Soluvlies underneath, arrange fabrics and materials (pieces of fabric, effect yarns, ribbons, braids, etc.) on top, cover with Solufix, sew all layers together, either in a grid or criss-cross. Wash out Solufix. Important: Do not iron or tear out!
