The range of darning needles made of hardened steel includes short needles for darning woolen clothing and socks, as well as long needles for finer darning work.The needles have the typical tapered shape of a sewing needle, but are considerably larger in size and therefore have a proportionally larger eye. This also allows for the threading of sturdy yarns and wool.The surface of the darning needles is burr-free and has a rust-resistant coating. This ensures that the needle can be easily guided through the material. Prym offers long and short darning needles in two assorted sets of 6 or 10 high-quality needles.
