Our 5 mm two-way zipper with 2 metal sliders from YKK is a modern zipper for jackets and coats that gives you more room at the hem of the coat, making it more comfortable to sit with the zipper closed.
The zipper is separable and has two opposing sliders, allowing it to be closed both up and down, in both directions. However, it can only be fully separated at the bottom.
Important for a long life of this zipper is to always handle the two sliders carefully: They must be aligned exactly at the bottom and pulled up slowly.
Tip: For a stuck zipper, the following household remedies can make the teeth glide again: Rubbing with soap, candle wax, or black pencil lead.
