Prym's practical bias tape makers allow you to perfectly shape bias tape of any length for edging fabric edges or patchwork quilts. By cutting the fabric strips at a 45-degree angle to the grain of the fabric, the bias tape becomes elastic and can be worked perfectly even in curves. Once the fabric strips have been cut and joined together, the fabric is inserted into the wide opening of the bias tape maker and pulled through. The perfectly folded bias strip can be pulled out on the flat side of this useful tool and smoothed directly with an iron. This makes bias tape quick and easy to make and can be simply rolled up for further use.
